As we wake up to a new day – it’s also a new month and a new year. What a perfect time to focus on new things. So many times we take tomorrow for granted, thinking that it’s always going to be there.
For many people, the new year is about resolutions. They are almost always the same – lose weight, get healthy, get control of finances, etc. But then honestly, within just a few weeks most if those are totally blowing.
So, I’ve got one for you. How about this year, strive to accept yourself just as you are right now. You’ll be amazed at just what a difference that makes for you. We need to remember something…In this EXACT moment, we can’t be any better than what we are right now. The sooner we accept that – the better off we will be. We spend so much time comparing ourselves to others, wanting to be just like them or have what they have, that we lose track of just who we really are.
Those days need to be over! Appreciate what you have been through, learn the lessons you need to learn. Then take a deep breath and simply be in the moment. This is your moment. Im not saying never try to better yourself…. Just find the value in who you already are!
