Who are you…really?

“What you see isn’t always what you get.” “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” We’ve heard all the cliche lines before. So, let’s face it, are you actually living as the TRUE YOU or are you hiding behind a mask of who you think you SHOULD BE? Or should I Who the world thinks you should be?

Hmmm, not so quick to respond? Ok, so you’re not living to the truest version of you…what are you scared of? Who is it in society that is trying to tell you that you have to live your life as anyone other than who you are MEANT TO BE? No one has that right, you Know?!?! And if they have managed to convince you otherwise…shame on them!!! But, it’s also shame on you for believing it!

Do the world a favor…. show us the real you! The world deserves it! Sure, we all have little bad habits that we would rather keep out of sight. That’s trivial in the scheme of what I’m talking about. If you feel in your heart that you really are an outspoken person, but society has convinced you that you need to keep it all to yourself… you know what, they don’t have that right. Maybe it’s the opposite for you, you talk too much when you don’t feel comfortable doing so…or any other thing that is portraying yourself as anyone other than who you truly are at your core.

I want you to think about something… some of the world’s most brilliant people and most ingenious ideas lay buried in the ground in cemeteries all around the world. All because someone imposed on them that it was not their place to speak up. Don’t let this happen to you! Find the courage and strength to live life on your terms! It is YOUR life after all!!
