The tone you start your day with, sets the tone for your day. I bet you never really stop to think about than one, do you? Why not shake up a little then, and try an experiment. Get up in the morning, and spend the first 10 minutes – as soon as your eyes open – being thankful. Be thankful for the new day, the air to breath, the warm bed you woke up in, etc… I would be willing to wager that there will be a shift in your day!
I’ve heard it most of my life – ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day.’ It is supposed to be what helps get your body started into action, giving you energy to go through your day. So, if that’s true, then it makes perfect sense that our first thoughts make an impact as well.
Now, once you’ve got your day up and running, it’s time to talk about something else. If you want your life to different, then it is up to you to instigate the changes needed. Stop sitting around waiting on things to be different. You have to go out and MAKE things happen. Stop making excuses – Take that first step dive into getting what you want. There are so many opportunities that come along only once…don’t let fear be the excuse that causes you to miss out.
Mark Twain once said, ‘The secret to getting ahead, is simply getting started.’ And that is so true. Many of us, myself included, are guilty of TALKING about our dreams, but never making a single move to make them happen. You can DREAM of the kind of life you want or the changes you want to make. But until you wake up & actually begin to make a plan to get there….it will only be a dream!!
So, Get up each morning, and show up for the adventure that day will prove to be. If your goals don’t scare you….then they are not big enough. Dream bigger….and then take action to bring it all to life!!!!
